Hello, I'm Cup-O-Nyan! Nyan for short is fine.
You may call me by my OCs' names too; Paints, Peaches, or Nilla!
I am a 20-year-old, self-taught artist. I have been drawing since around 2006, but I started digital art around 2010. Art is a hobby for me, my real passion in life is mathematics. Art has been a positive outlet for me to express myself as well as create things for people I care about. My favorite art form is ceramics, but at this time I don't take commissions for them anymore. I'm happily in a long-distance, long-term relationship with my partner since 2014. I refer to him as his OCs as well; Sketch, Chashu, or Nori.
Initially, commissions just allowed me to make money as a teenager to buy things with my own money. Nowadays I take commissions to save up and support my adult life outside of school and work. Streaming my art has also been positive in allowing me to keep on track, share my work, and have more fun doing things I enjoy. I started streaming really maybe in 2016 but only "regularly" in late 2020.
Generally speaking, I'm very reserved and tend to avoid meeting new people. Streaming is out of my usual comfort zone but it's been helping me improve very slowly. I'm kind of dumb when you get to know me. Over the years I've put myself through a lot and made a ton of mistakes that I regret. Which ultimately created a lot of self-doubt and self-hatred. With the help of my friends, I've been doing what I can to do better than I did as a preteen and teenager. I hope to not repeat my past mistakes, once again.
Things I've Made
Clarose Island is an Original Species I created with a good friend in 2017. It took place on a rose-shaped island that emerged a species of animal thousands of years after the fall of humankind. It is an art roleplay game (ARPG), inspired by others like Griffia, Wyngro, and Isomara-Island. At this time it is on an indefinite hiatus due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and other various reasons. It is yet to be picked back up and reworked.
Snepsi Co. is a fanmade company for the game Super Animal Royale which is a parody of IRL company, Pepsi Co. The world of Snepsi Co. takes place in a Discord server founded by my boyfriend and I in early 2020. It's a hang-out server where events are hosted on occasion. A bot sells fake in-server products which are all parodies of real-world products. (Uni-Corn Chips, Root Bear, etc.)
Cup-O-Nyan on Twitch was made in late 2020 to help me cope with events that took place in early to mid-2020. As well as rebuild myself and help me focus on past commitments I've been avoiding and procrastinating on. The V-Tuber character Cup-O-Nyan is just me but someone I want to be more like. She is shy but always doing her best to work on herself. She cosplays as all my OCs and enjoys drinking hot beverages like coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and more!
